What can I do with Fenn?
Start with what you remember: a phrase, a picture, a person, or something you saw on screen. Fenn helps you find the file or moment behind it.

Two places to work
Section titled “Two places to work”The search window is for quick lookups. Open it with Option + Space (⌥ Space), unless you chose another shortcut. Manual is the everyday interaction mode; Agent checks more detailed conditions.
The main window lets you browse indexed folders, preview files, open chat, and manage settings. The left sidebar contains your folders, Magic Folders, and settings.
Start small
Section titled “Start small”Add one folder you know well and let Fenn prepare it. This preparation is called indexing. It makes the files searchable.
Use a short query and a file type filter: elephant with Images, for example. When you need Fenn to analyze something, give a clear instruction instead: “Find invoices with a total above €1,000.”
